What is the One Card a Day Project?

Cancer thinks it stole my life. Sure, I can't work, I have no endurance, and I live with pain. But I have paper! Lots of scrapbooking paper. And, incredibly, time. We don't know how much time, but some time. And when you mix paper, embellishments, a short attention span and time, what do you get?

Cards!

I have decided to create one card a day to give to all the wonderful people who have liked my Breast Cancer? But Doctor I Hate Pink! facebook and blog pages and who have followed me through my treatment. I will mail all the cards I finish on December 1st, and then will continue to make them until the next December. This will give me something to look forward to, which is not always easy for a person living with cancer. If I don't make it to the following December, my husband or kids will donate them, or continue to send them to my friends and followers.

My blog and facebook friends have kept my spirits up and supported me through some gruesome treatments. The only way I can think of to thank everybody is to give everybody who wants one gets a hand-made card!

Some will be good. Most will be mediocre. Some may be bad. I am not a professional papercrafter. I'm not on a scrapbooking design team. I have done two albums in my life. I will be testing new techniques and copying stuff I find on pinterest for this project.

But all of them will be made from the heart. And posted here!
